Our Story


Vivid Coffee got its start in Winooski, Vermont, in 2015. In the most basic sense, our goal was to source and roast coffees that are delicious. It still is. When we named our little operation, Vivid Coffee, we felt it perfectly described the type of coffee we want to roast. Coffees that burst with Vivid aromas and taste. Coffees that stands out.



Diversity is an amazing thing. Just like every person is different, so is every coffee. At Vivid Coffee we strive to curate a diverse collection of stand out coffees that cater to a wide array of palates. Because people have such different palates, our roast selection should have something for everyone. Our coffees are as diverse as the countries, regions and farmers that produce them. They’re grown at different elevations, in different soils. And like many fruits, there are hundreds of varieties. Whether it’s a coffee with rich/bold notes like chocolate, caramel, and toasted almond, or a coffee with notes of apricot jam and nougat, we are looking for coffees that stand out in their excellence and clarity.
